A brand new dinner and drag show on Oxford Street with flowing bevvies!
Known in another life as the Midnight Shift, this Oxford Street club with its own rich history in the local queer scene is welcoming back guests. You won’t find the usual club night or sweaty dancefloor, however. Universal is putting on Premiere, an immersive dining experience every Friday and Saturday night, starring entertainment from local drag royalty including Hannah Conda, Charisma Belle and Carmen Geddit.

The grand ballroom of the Paddington RSL looked splendid for what many are calling a fabulous return to form for this event, now in its twenty-ninth year.
A highlight was a performance by the five finalists from the Slay 2 Stay talent quest at Universal, featuring the winner Miss Danni Issues – this queen has a big future.
Charisma Belle was the perfect hostess with the right measure of sending and steering. There is nothing quite like seeing a queen at the top of her game – she really was wonderful.
The popular Fran Giapanni is the DIVA Rising Star for 2019.
